All of the images on this site were collected under the Creative Commons license. The license was collected at the same time as the image and can be viewed by clicking on the copyright mark when viewing the image. We consider these images the absolute best images of pets available on the Internet. We have been very picky.

We have tried to make sure that the photographers actually meant to classify their images as marked under the Creative Commons, by checking through their sites (Flickr or elsewhere) to see if any other copyright notices were present. If there were, we passed on their images. All of the images in the collection passed these tests, and were subsequently added to our collection.

If you find your images, and would like to add your email to the account so that people can contact you about your images, please send us an email with "iPics4Pets photographer email" in the subject line.

If you find your image, and would like it removed, because you decide you did not really mean to put your image under the Creative Commons license that you originally marked; please send us an email with "iPics4Pets Please Remove" and we will remove it as soon as possible.

Please remember that if you use one of the photographs in a project, most of the licenses require attribution (this means that you give the photographer a credit line on your piece- whether for web or for print). It is usually nice to also send them a copy of the finished piece, if you can contact them.
