Do you add photos on a regular basis?
We look periodically for the best photos available through the Creative Commons for photos that have been licensed for use. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.

May I upload my own photos?
You may upload your photos, however, they must be your photos. Do not upload images that you did not take.

What format and size should I use on my photos?
Your photos should be jpgs and they should be fairly high resolution. Just because the image looks good on your screen, doesn't mean it will look good when it prints. Your image should be approximately 750px x 750px or larger.

The photo on the ipics4pets preview looks blurry.
Your image is too small to print properly. You must choose a higher resolution photo file.

Can I submit photos for others to use?
If you upload a photo that you are willing to let other people use on postage and other items, you may mark it with the Attribution or Share and Share Alike Creative Commons licenses and we will make it available to other users. Otherwise, the photo will be left as a private photo, and it will only be available to you.

What are the image guidelines?

• Content or images, whether appearing individually or in combination with other content or images, may not be used in a way that may cause our site, or the photos of individuals represented on this site to become a public forum, including but not limited to:
  • Content or images actively advocating or disparaging the religious, political, or legal agenda of any person or entity, including but not limited to content or images designed to influence a specific piece of legislation.
  • Partisan or political content or images, including but not limited to content or images supporting or opposing election
  • Content or images related to human reproduction or sexuality, including but not limited to content or images related to services or counseling with regard to pregnancy, abortion, or other sexual matter.
• Unlawful content or images including but not limited to:
  • Deceptive, defamatory, slanderous, libelous or obscene content or images.
  • Content or images infringing upon the intellectual property rights of any third party, including but not limited to the ipics4pets or any of the photographers hereon.
  • Content or images that violate any living or deceased person's privacy or publicity rights.
• Content or images depicting discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual or political orientation, or age.
• Content or images containing non-incidental depiction of firearms, ammunition, or gambling.
• Content or images depicting graphic violence.
• Content or images depicting illegal activities, illegal substances, and paraphernalia designed for use in connection with illegal substances or activities, or convicted criminals.
• Content or images depicting profanity, nudity, or sexually explicit functions or materials.
• Content or images related to the sales of alcoholic beverages, tobacco or tobacco related products.
• Content or images related to the sale of products designed for use in connection with sexual activity, or product, services or entertainment directed to sexual stimulation

Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. All of our products are customized and/or digital and therefore cannot be returned.

Are there any restrictions on my use of the ipics4pets.com photos that I download?
Yes. Although most the images on ipics4pets.com are available under the Creative Commons Share and Share Alike and/or Attribution licenses, they still have restrictions on their use, most notably the requirement for attribution.  In addition, we may at some point add some images that are restricted in their use. Restricted images will be clearly marked. 

Also, we do not allow the redistribution of our photo database, nor do we allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archived format such as a DVD or CD.

I have an image on your site that I would like to remove, or that I incorrectly marked with a Creative Commons use license. How do I have it removed?
Simply send us an email with Remove Photo - ipics4pets in the subject line, and we will be happy to remove your image.
